Film ‘Red Tails’

Film – Red Tails is set to screen! Lights. Cameras. Action. The media event and post-film reception that my team coordinated for the NYC film screening of ‘Red Tails,’ a film about the Tuskegee Airmen was a wonderful success. We were working on two events–a film screening and a benefit for a local group!

Produced by Hollywood luminary, ‘Mr. Star Wars’ himself, George Lucas, the screening was held in January, 2012.  We were asked to coordinate the screening event so that it also served as a benefit event for the NYC area chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen. Tickets were $75. But that didn’t stop folks from trying to get in for free.

The air was filled with pride and excitement as throngs of adoring fans–young and old– turned out to meet our American living legends, the Tuskegee Airmen, who are all over 85 years old! Actor Cuba Goodings, was among many stars in attendance at the event. Congratulations go out to Patt Terrelonge, president of the local NYC Tuskegee Airmen chapter, who is a passionate leader and magnet for positive energy.
